Looks like another few days of good gardening weather ahead and a fine day for Wednesday when i am showing FB friends round the Botanic Gardens in Bristol after they have visited my garden. I have to go shopping in the next village today as we do not have a jewellers in our shopping area and I need a new watch. No doubt i will see some plant or other I fancy there!

Good morning everyone, just woke to lovely blue sky, we are off for one more week, i managed to revive my strawberry plants and my planters yesterday, had to get new plants for my hanging baskets, making sure everything is well watered this time every day, Marion hope you find a nice watch today, where off to Rivington today for a good walk and some lunch image

A new watch was nearly ??40 so i had a new strap and battery for the old one. it was still ??30 for the two so had to pretend i did not see the lovely plants for sale in the flower shop! That shows how inflation catches up with you. the old watch was only ??24 complete when i bought it four and a half years ago.

Yes Marion, everything is so expensive.  Shame we have to spend money on the mundane things rather than plants. image

That window box in flumpy 1's picture is a real show-stopper.

I know which shop you mean I think Marion, you might have ended up paying less in Argos or up the mall, and thats saying something lol

I much prefer the small shop on the other side of the road, many a time I've jumped off the bus there because I've seen something I like, only have have to wait another 20 mins for the next one lol

Hi Lesley k, the window boxes where better in real life, the flower where a lovely powder pink, the amount of people we had stood at the window was crazy, we felt like we where in a gold fish bowl some times image, it was a lovely cottage to stay in tho image

A beautiful plant Marion, lovely blooms. Makes one smile to see it. image

Used the advance setting too. Now busy cropping photos taken before and after the rains of last week?

Having spent a morning on domestic chores now to visit a friends 'open' garden. Always leave with ideas for my own.

Marion when I was at the bus stop this morning I saw a sign for the very local garden show and immediately thought of you image

Are you taking part? I reckon you'd knock the socks off everyone else there image

Hi Marion, hope you are well, could you give me some advice on my five cherry tomatoe plants, I've grown them from seed and they are about 9inches tall all in one big pot, do I need to separate them?
