KEF i have to wear my specs for most things now and have an older pair on a chain when i am in the garden to do some jobs and have just got some distance ones for driving and TV, i seem to spend more time swapping from one to the other than doing things
On your behalf, I been having a closer look at the settings of my Nikon L27 camera, which I guess is very similar to your L25.....bare in mind I just use mine as a point and shoot normally, so don't need to use it on anything other than auto.
If you press 'scene' you will see a display of icons, one of which is 'a bunch of flowers', select this plus the macro setting and it should be appropriate for most of the ones you are taking.
Hi again, it has a section (about you) when filling in your details for the site I couldn't find the words so here's me with my 2 gardening pals they dig up what I plant just for me to re-plant so nice to meet you all.
Hi...I have not posted anything for a while (althought I have just been looking at everyones pics and I see the standard has not gone down ). However I got a new camera for Xmas but now I am unable to upload any photos....is anyone else having problems?

I understand, KEF....I can understand focussing may be a problem. I suppose it's a compromise when you have a less sophisticated camera.
Mine has either manual or automatic focus and a electronic (eye) viewfinder in addition to the LCD screen......but of course, cost quite a bit more.
PS. That isn't the Nikon L27 of course!
David, I'd better learn how to use this before thinking about an upgrade, amazing what you find on a camera if you wear your specs and read the guide
Thanks for encouragement & advice.
KEF - Something like this should be achievable with your camera.....just be sure to have plenty of light

Guess who hasn't been doing her HW?
Above not in focus?
Obviously run out of flowers
Getting better, KEF
