Lily I really like the archway and door. Makes me think of a mirror if you don't look at the path. I have fancied putting a mirror in the garden to give illusion of "beyond" but I don't currently have somewhere to place one, so another plan is ongoing.

Back to my camera , the last time I messed with camera I tried to use a good background, like David did when he used a black tele' screen, but I don't seem to have many options. Think that is what I'm going to "play around" with.

This was one not too good effort. I have problems with where I can take Macro for good light quality so most are in conservatory and I end up with unwanted background.

I don't like this much, but another "play" with background.

  • I've always wanted a walled garden kef. And, also fancy a mirror somewhere but like you have nowhere to put it. Although our gardens quite big so don't really need a mirror! ! Lol

    Love your pics image

Love the archway and gate too KEF. I have a mirror that I want to place on the fence which will eventually be surrounded by greenery. I'll angle it to reflect another part of the garden - that's the theory anyway!

Was the container for the empties handy during the building work Bob? image

Nice to see it all coming together isn't it. Makes the hard graft worth while. Another month will see an even  bigger difference. I've still a bit of work to do on  my raised beds but some of the plants are getting established quite  well now, and I planted hundreds of bulbs in them.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
