Nothing remarkable about this 'Perle d' Azur' clematis you may think, but it is quite remarkable that the above is about 20ft high in the canopy of my old damson tree. It appears every year about this time and gets no attention whatever.....in fact, I'm not sure where the roots are.

They were part of some flowers bought for me for taking care of her garden while she was on holiday.
She's a really good gardener herself, but she still tells people how lucky she is, as her garden always looks better after her hols than before.
