Runny I don't know why you have two colours unless there are two plants, are the stems the same colour? Maybe start a thread I'd be interested to know.
I haven't been on the forum for a while so have missed a lot of the fabulous pics you folks have been posting. I had a replacement knee on Dec. 31st 2013 and have recovered very well from that but I have been all over the country running courses teaching people how not to kill and/or injure themselves with angle grinders and grinding machines (there are on average about 6000 people a year who end up in A&E because of that type of injury believe it or not! - and those are the ones who survive!!!)
The garden had to take a bit of a rest last year, though I did manage to plant a few vegetables which were very successful - I hope to get the camera out again soon so watch this space! I've also found my mum's old Olympus Trip 35 (she passed away in January aged 101 +) it's a film camera of course but after a new set of light seals and a fresh film it was amazing to see the results (though I can't transfer the excellent quality from the prints to this site of course).
Ah! - I retired from being a master locksmith and sold my business in 2011, then discovered you don't retire: you just do something different! It isn't a "job" as I do it voluntarily but it does keep me busy. I only train locksmiths under the banner of the Master Locksmiths Association.
People who use 'Abrasive Wheels' in their job have to be trained and certificated in their use under PUWER Regulations (Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998).
Amazingly there are no regulations preventing the general public from going along to the likes of B&Q and buying an angle grinder, plugging it in and doing whatever they like with it in their own home or garage with impunity!
There! you've got me going on about something unrelated to gardening or photography - where's my camera!
John looking forward to new pics from you I'm not familiar with the Olympus Trip 35. My dad used to have a Konica back in the 1980's which I once borrowed.
I tried to upload a pic this morning that I took on my Panasonic TZ40 at Lanhydrock Gardens but an error code just came up & I can't work out why. I'll try again in a while on my laptop. Trouble is that the constant stream of Windows updates sometimes stops something from working that has worked perfectly well for a long time! Aargh!!!!

Your pictures are always a delight, Rb....I'm sure all are equally welcome here, whatever the skill level of those posting them.
Thanks for that information, Charlie...I knew they had been thought through.
Charlie and Runny lovely to see bright flowers

Trying again on my laptop
For the technically minded: Panasonic TZ40 f3.3 at 1/125 sec set at ISO 100
Still came up with the 'Error' code but just as I was about to turn my laptop off up popped the pic - Heh-Ho! John H
That happened to me too John, think it's a problem with the site. Lovely photo, thank you.
I've been messing about
my two efforts below.
Forum won't let me upload my pictures lengthy scrambled type message appears and I'm not doing anything differently.
Rad upload art thingy rejected.etc.......it won't let me copy and paste the message
