Fantastic effect David. I started playing about with that setting on mine after you showed me what to do. Simple when you know how!  image

Please do have a play with your Adv, setting.....with a little imagination it has the potential to take some interesting shots.

Nothing fantastic about the above, but seeing it, I put the camera on an orange filter & snapped it. image

  • There we go! Absolutely beautiful.  image  What I always wanted when I started this thread i.e. for peeps to get to know their cameras better & improve their skills. image

Thanks David. It helps having a resident expert to give tips etc. I've always enjoyed taking photos. When I was producing ponies for the show ring, I enjoyed getting a few pix and trying to get the composition right. Not always easy - especially the jumping ones! Great when they turned out well though. image

In that case you may be interested in this shot I took of this gorgeous little girl at our village show.

I should explain, it was a scorching hot day (you may well notice the pony looks stressed) and this little mite was whispering words of comfort in his/her ear.

Apols if you've seen it before.....I just thought it was apt. image
