I've just had a leisurely stroll around Barnsdale. Great to see the obelisk that Geoff made now in a mature setting. Veg gardens I'd love to have, might be a bit much produce for two. Took these yesterday of the first signs of life in the two new raised beds I built last autumn. There are about half a dozen crocus varieties and about the same in mini-daffs, some of which aren't showing yet:
and some crocus in half of an old recycled water butt outside the shed in the back garden:
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
