    No, I just stuck it through the bedroom window and slapped everything on auto. The colour lasted 15 seconds at the most. The leaves had already gone off the tree, late last year.

    There you go....and there I would have been pratting around with that thar 'exposure compensation' and the opportunity would have passed.  image

     Almost the same view, except the eucalyptus in the foreground fell over and the phormium underneath it died in the really bad frost.

     We were looking for the ospreys and found a field full of orchids near the car park.

    Some fantastic pics on here today/tonight, I love sunsets and have loads of sunset at the back of my house...I'm a bit mad like that LOL!  The blackbird pic is lovely, I would love to have a bird on my hand like that, what a fantastic picture image

    All lovely, will have another look tomorrow when I am wine free!!

  • Ah Fidget - I love Rutland Water - last time we were there the woods were full of bluebells and the perfume was intoxicating ............ must do again this spring image

    Chicky and archie....my pic was of Scales tarn looking across to the ascent of Sharp Edge....a scary ridge walk not for anyone who suffers from vertigo!

    I had a nice surprise yesterday moring when I went into the greenhouse for the first time in a couple of days.....
