Absolutely David. I have mesh on the fence for ivy to cling onto and it doesn't cause any issues, but yes, if it's on borders it's not good for birds if their little feet get caught
Lovely pix Tracey! I think David's started something with the TV background
The one you're not sure of looks like a Columbine to me - Aquilegia.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
My handsome boy (in the wooded area), my pretty girl (in the lake) and some random sheep.....in whatever order they appear! Taken at Coniston a couple of weeks ago. You will see from the cloud why we didn't climb upwards but stayed by the lake
I remember a few years ago having to rescue a hedgehog from my sweetpea netting. Had to carefully cut the netting first and then gradually take it off Mr hedgehog. Always use twiggy type sticks or obelix now.
Thanks FG, I can't even remember if it flowers but will make a note and post a pic again in the summer. I have quite a few plants that I don't know what they are - well actually most of my plants unless bought in the last year!!
Love your Freesia David, another of my favourite flowers but I don't have any....I will add it to the list
Just posted them as a before & after example, Tracy....I will say I managed that vibrant look by taking them with bright sunlight shining behind them and yes, freesias are not only a beautiful flower....they have a gorgeous smell.
Loved your doggie shots.....has she caught a fox yet?
Funny you should say that David, no they haven't but they were definitely having a try at catching something. I wasn't going to post this, but seen as you asked
That's my dog - Ollie David and yes he definitely had a scent of something but he didn't get anything, thankfully - I would have been devastated!! They are both Beagles but a lot of people don't think Ollie is, poor boy

Thank you David....all tips gratefully received

Seems like she has the scent of a badger to me, Tracy.
