    I'm getting intermittent emails image

Can I have some of the thunder and storms please? Is very humid here and I am dripping! I know we ladies aren't supposed to drip but please remember, I am wearing a fur coat! If only I could take it off image

    Too hot to do anything . . . .

Hi KEF, yes probably mice, or rats? Although the dog eat peas too but she eats everything root, leaf and all.

It was our first year at carrots but a nice idea to try them in a pot. Might even try peas in a pot. What do you think I could put in place of the carrots?  Could I try radishes? or parsnips? or would those darn flies get them too. Grrr!

The storm has passed, it is now sunny, warm and very humid, sadly perfect weather for our slimy friends, I am sure I can hear them munching even now.

Off to cook tea after a little drinky I think.

    have a good evening.

How can you lie there and think of England

Sorry your OH was so generous fidget.  Summer colds are a misery.  (What summer?)

It's not been particularly warm today but it's stopped raining at last.  I'm about to go and pick up the dog from the groomers.  At least she won't get all the weed seeds stuck to her now and she'll look more like a dog than a sheep.  Ever thought of having your coat sheared Pandaimage.

Yes punkdoc it is perfect weather for those simy things but I wouldn't call them friendsimage  Perfect for our midges too. I've been bitten all over my face today and hardly been out..image

Haven't checked back on posts. I don't usually watch the news, read it online. Watched it this teatime.

So shocked to to hear about Rik Mayall dying, only my age. Didn't find all his stuff funny but to me so sad so young..in KEF years.   image

Yes, sad isn't it - according to those who met him he was a really nice man, quiet and gentle.  He had that awful accident didn't he image

Just got to make some mint sauce .............

My thoughts too KEF. Only liked him in Blackadder and J. Creek but it's far too young. A year younger than me, just.

Horrible and wet here and has been since mid day so housework and boring stuff done only. Still - it's watered in all the stuff I planted and shifted yesterday and Saturday.

Cooking tea just now - chicken and Parma ham. Will have a catch up on here.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Well the w- word did get better later in the day. I rose above it. Always wanted to levitate!

Enjoying a bit of peace and quiet. OH working late, son playing outside.

My pms are still working (as far as I know).

Not been on the garden trail yet.

Kaffir lily is in flower though, normally waits until autumn.

Thinking about the old broken tree again. Might go with the obvious and easy option, and just plant a mad for it climber up it, if it breaks further worry about it the whilst saying I told you so. Chain saw has not materialised, can't let OH loose now until plants died back, sister says its nice to see the interesting bark. Maybe I should admit defeat and leave it alone. ?

I was shocked to hear of Rik Mayall dying too, younger than me. Does anyone know what from yet?

Funny, since I mentioned notifications they've come back! Well done the GW team.

    So hot and humid today.
