  • Good morning all image  How's this for a lie in? image

Mind you, I'm showered and dressed, breakfast and coffee eaten and second coffee on the go, and a load of washing is in the machine - the skie looks blue with white fluffies and I might just go out shopping later this morning ..... or I might not ..... this retirement thingy is just making me indecisive image

  • Making a new raised bed at present: The first one I made about 15 years ago finally expired because I didn't use tanalised timber boards. I just screwed untreated 6"x2"x4' boards together with some 'L' brackets.

I'm making the new one using some steel channels welded together at 90° to each other to create 4 posts which I will concrete into the ground, then I can cut and slot in new boards. I'll post a pic later when it's all done.

  • Sounds a good design John image Watch out, I can imagine requests from friends and family!

Why have,nt I got any Christmas Smilies? have I missed out,are there any left?image

  • It's probably because you're using a iPad or something swish and clever like that - I think people in your elevated position will be getting the new exclusive Christmas Smilies that come out a bit closer to Christmas and are scented with pine needles and mulled wineimage
