Oh Bekkie, you really need to get him trained up.  Hubby has the standard man problems of not seeing dirt and expecting the screwdriver he left on the dining table to be there 3 weeks later but he does do all the cooking and if I ask he will run the vacuum over.  He mows the lawns but nothing else re the garden, thats all me. Mind you it has taken 40 years to get him to this stage.  Must admit I wouldn't like to train another.

    Hello all

Very sad news Woody the Hillier's Romsey is no more it is closed gates shut no sign no more, half the building has been all took down and entrance tent all took away - it all looks a mess now  - the whole place must have been gone for a while by the look of it, so sad - I feel that one was the best Hillier GC nice and relaxing small but with really knowledgeable people and inspiring and great talks there. image

Had to go to the Botley one, that one does not inspirer me really - came away with what I wanted 6 bags of multi purpose compost few veg plants cauliflower and broccoli will grow them try and see if I like them and a Michaelmas daisy white pretty one

Will plant out tomorrow been spitting a bit today afternoon, I manage to sow green manure on one veg bed and shredded one bag garden waste of twigs plant stalks seed heads as well, got coated with fluff cause of wind had a tidy up then went to the gc

Well that's me home image to the not so good news that our shower has what can only be described as a hidden surprise . . . a leak image and it's a big hidden leak image that means some insurance claiming going on image image It's never good when the plumber says that he can't give us a quote as he is not sure of the extent of the problem image

Maybe I need Dove's friendly builder . . . if only I lived nearer to her I'd ask for his number image

Yvie I need a step by step training manual for my lot.  It is common to find an empty can or bottle on the worktop - 1 foot to the left of the bin - what's that aboutimage

Gg it is sad to see somewhere you have grown fond of in the past looking in such a stateimage

Oh good - forgot GBBO was on tonight OL.  Does sound like something you could be 'done' for.  Grievious Bodily Body Odourimage.  Enough to put you off the cakes.
