  • Good morning

Hope everyone is well and those who aren't soon feel better.

I'm glad the sun is out now with you,Verdun.  I'm about 15 miles further east and you get the weather before me. The weatherman said there would be some sunshine today so was hoping to cut some more brambles down the bottom of the garden.  I'm starting to get cabin fever.

    Welly good jokes Verdunimage

I remembered what was in your parcel too Lizzie because it prompted me into putting them on my shopping list.  Not been yet so you've managed to get yours before me and I only live 5 miles from the shopimage.  I think I'm in semi hibernation mode.

No idea where you are Perki - a friend in the Derbyshire Peaks is having heavy snow at the moment.  I'm in Norfolk and we have wet soggy sleet.

Make a snow candle like this http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-make-a-snow-candle-104900  we used to make these in the garden when the children were young, and put candles in them as the sun went down - they look magical image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Snow candles look lovely and so simple to do, unlike the fantastic hand! Now I just need some snow - but I'd rather not!
