Hello all. Just sitting in my bed wishing I glad a piece of cake to go with cough medicine! That's me locked in too (except that I never get any email notifications).
What a load of rubbish there is on TV. Just watched the prog about the Yorkshire School. My goodness, how things have changed since my day and, from what I saw, not for the best. What's happened to respect?
time for bed... early dentist tomorrow, then shift in shop. Youngest great niece driving over to see me in the evening and she's only 6 months old... but then, I'm only 27 ... night, night....
Just watched new truckers programme, set in Nottingham. They must have filmed the slab square scene at 6 in the morning. It can take an hour at peak time to do 8 miles from the m1 to the centre of Nottingham. Hence why I went to Leicester to do the shopping today. It's quicker.

Wow, I only ever saw it in summer. We used to play hitting balls on elastic on the prom, can't remember the name of the game.
I kept thinking atari but I think it was called jokari. A bat with the ball attached by elastic.
Not the calmest of days then! Its just suddenly changed.
