Hello all, I'm still alive, I dared to wear jeans today, to keep and muck and stuff off my leg because I was merchandising this morning. If you go shopping and admire how good the mannequins look, admire a little harder because those beggars are a nightmare to dress. I'm covered in dust, muck and ache all over. They're heavy so and so's, fall apart at every opportunity and will not co-operate. However doing something, believe it or not - makes the day go faster and forgot about the itchy bitey thing. The redness has spread, but the swelling has decreased, which was the thing worrying me most if it might have been full of infection. Yuk!

Riddle me this, where has the lovely weather of yesterday gone? It's grey and horrible and I have a million things to do in the garden, tried to coax Matt into going to the GC, to no avail. bah.

Heh I'm a 16/18 but 5"10 so I'll take that! I could be slimmer, but hey I like muffins. More specifically the raspberry and white chocolate ones from Costa. Must find. Recipe.

Funny weight should be the topic today. I met up with my brother and sister yesterday and were discussing how my sisters partner was on about buying specialist equipment to lighten her bike by half a lb for increased performance.

Fortunately she had already pointed out that maybe it would be cheaper for her to loose that half lb (and the rest of the half stone that's been bugging her) to which he didn't disagree!

I've got 16lb to loose. I've been trying to loose it for a year, even when I was on the uber strict diet of bland I didn't loose much at all and I had rather hoped it would be gone by a friends wedding in August as the dress I have erm... well it hides the belly by drawing attention to the monster boobs.

Why does food taste so good??

P.S. I will also confess, if only for the giggles it will course, that on the advice of a friend I started a pound for lb jar in which for every lb I lost £10 went in the jar for a special treat...

... We spent it on a Chinese takeaway image

Didn't back the winner eh Verdimage

My weight has gone up and down every year and two years ago it got stuck on up! I have given up smoking and put on even more.  I blame the folk on here who tempt me with scrumptious cakes and drinks.image

Which reminds me I'm baking later, she says, as it's too nippy to be in the garden today, plus taking a nap while brownies bake seems pretty idyllic to me today.
