Chicky, im much more of a fruit and veg girl, all the best spots are given over to veggies, that leaves the awkward bit for flowers, i have a plastic GH, but tend to find a way to make shelter for things if needed. image

I do hope you are right about september Chicky, im not greedy, dont want it to be scorching (although that would be nice), just gentle and mild will do image

Poor you Fairy, must have been much much worse than mine which I can't even imagine! I am having physio and have exercises to do every hour! Am trying to do them, needs discipline. Not something I have much of!

looks nice out there, very still. Will hope to get some deadheading done. Then hoping OH may take me to Tesco where I saw they were selling tiny but healthy looking Acers for £1image

Chicky i do hope you are right about September, family all arrive from Hong Kong for holiday!  Have a good day everyone

Its difficult to know when to draw the line when you are doing something you enjoy LP image

The lady in the next door cubicle to me when i had my accupuncture was saying she had injured herself gardening!

I suppose we must all think the pain is worth it image

I had  a very physical job at the time LP. Lifting stuff that was too heavy and certainly for the age I was. I'm used to my rubbish back now - in fact I hardly notice it now with all the other assorted pain taking over from it...imageimage

I'm not good at accepting help outdoors or in - it would be the same if I ever had a cleaner. I'd have to clean the house before they came image  Daughter has helped quite a bit with all the fence building though.  I couldn't have done it without her - it's much easier if you have an extra pair of hands to hold ends of timber, and keep posts steady while you concrete. She's nifty with a cordless drill, a hammer and a pickaxe too image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
