Ps Yviestevie lilac is a beautiful choice, I would save up and buy a big and mature plant as I'm far too impatient to wait the years it took mine to start blooming image

Good morning all image  Shattered of Norfolk here image  Lovely day spent yesterday meeting up with old friends and eating lovely food.  Two meals out in one day!!!  Anatolian Turkish for lunch and Vietnamese for supper!  The bus/train journeys were not enjoyable - strangely enough one of the train journeys was worse than the bus!

Still a bit breezy here but bright sunshine - I shall now go and have a look to see what's been going on here - if somebody doesn't think I ought to find something more useful/constructive to do on a Sunday morning when OH is sound asleep and I don't want to wake him by vacuuming, dusting, cooking and clattering roasting trays! image  Yes, I have caught up a little bit image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Morning all image

Glad you had a good day in London Dove (travelling asideimage). Hope the packing/spring cleaning is all worthwhile soon BMimage.

have seen the same weather forecast as Verd - looks like Weds night could be hairyimage.

in the meantime, today is a day to explore the garden and see what is popping up - mostly hellebores snowdrops and other bulbs.  Love the anticipation at this time of year.  I added a new witch hazel Pallida to the garden last year and it is flowering profusely - vivid yellow spidery pom poms ....lovelyimage

And our new horsey friends have invited us to their field this afternoon to raid the dung heap ..... Happy Daysimage

Morning all - been a bit absent image Computer decided it didn't like it's living conditions any more and gave up working. Ex husband's friend has sorted it now though - fingers crossed! I don't think I can possibly catch up with everything so I won't really try. Thinking of you today BL. Desperate times, but the pen truly is mightier than the sword. Otherwise, why would they be so frightened of it?...

Hope everyone is well and storm damage is minimal. We're all fine here - high winds, sleet, hail, snow and the odd fence panel taking off but it's usual fare in winter for this part of the world and we've had hardly any until now so can't complain. North west and islands are the ones suffering - thousands still without power.

I'll go and have a look round now..I see I have some messages image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Good morningimage

Much quieter windwise last night and only have an inch of snow, though it keeps trying. Rain and wind forecast for laterimage

Glad you had a nice time with foodie friends Doveimage.  The journey sounds dire though.

DD I'm sure Charlie would have been easier to get in the bath. Naughty Shadow.

You've been very busy Beaus.  Have you got a date for moving if all goes well?

Hope today goes well Lizzie - you know we are all thinking of you and what you are all standing up for. xx
