    Hello

OOh I love Cornwall but I'm going to Spain in September - don't suppose dates could change ------------------------- no I thought not!

Don't forget to visit the Hidden Valley Garden Dove - think it's one in the GW book

Trying to tidy house, why is it a washing mountain appears just when you don't want one.

Also have to plant up stuff as OH is not to be relied upon to maintain plants if I'm allowed to go to France.

Yesterday we went to a Chille Festival at a nearby castle - Eastnor - they let you take dogs around with you, even in the house, useful to know.

Had an attack of sticky label syndrome and came away with a purple cayenne pepper

Back later - trying to pace myself!!!!!!!!!!!

PS anyone looked at the cartoon on Google today - quite enjoyed it, one of their better ones

Matty I hope you get the all-clear to fly back with Lizzie but, in the meantime, enjoy Malvernimage.

MrsG - is there still room for more food after your cakeimage.  Enjoy the rest from cooking yourselfimage.  I usually line the bottom of the tin with greaseproof/baking parchment and leave it to cool for 15-20 mins.  If you try it and it doesn't work it wasn't me who gave the tipimage.

Chicky I am going to try your tip for the brambles as it sounds very effective.  The only problem is getting to the base through the hedge.

Hope you feel better soon Yvie.

Wonder if Beaus is still busy digging holes or has fallen down oneimage

Couldn't the wallflowers wait until they don't look good?

OH has weeded the Herb Robert out of the irises image First time I've known him do weeding!

Been planting the GH tomatoes and weeding the onions. But just walked around the garden with OH and the weeds in the long border are horrendous, full of goosegrass. I did it a bit over a month ago.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Lizzie I think chicky cuts them back and inserts a SBK pipe cleaner into the hollow stem. I'm sure she can explain it betterimage.  Glad your cold is better - must have been the wet weatherimage
