Afternoon all, i am in a man sulk, never got my nap after work, daughter and grand daughter (20 months) decided to visit just as i was going for nap, house looks like a tornado has just gone through it, anyhoo's glad you enjoyed your day Lesley, is the garden show held at Ingleston?..OL did you get those three words? or did you google?
Day went well thanks Lily Am mentally prepped for Monday (I think).
KEF, am not married yet, you can be my brideslave* if you like? At the mo the plans are for littles (nieces and goddaughter) as I thought that would be funny!
Sorry your day was so pooey MrsG. Lily, can I book you for weeding tomorrow please?
*that's what I call 'em as they are there to be the slave of the bride
Hello folks ((hugs)) G&Ts and chocolates all available here this evening for those who need them
I got some pricking out done today - back began to ache bending over the table on the terrace so in the end I sat down there in the sunshine with a mug of coffee .
Lots of birds in the garden today - a new visitor is a Dunnock - we've not seen it in this garden before - I think it's started to visit because there's more cover now that the Little Wilderness is thickening up - it's going to get a bit bigger before long too, so that'll make the birds happy.
Can someone please remind me to pick up some plastic pots from the recycle bin at the GC when I go to the farm shop tomorrow
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Sadly Lily I've been engaged for over 4 years and still no sign of a wedding To be fair to OH, if I organised it he would come Just not got around to it yet See you at 11
Evening all. Turned out lovely so I've been out all day after taking daughter for an appointment - potting on and moving stuff and planting etc etc. Daughter has done a splendid roast for dinner so you could have come round here MrsG. Not much of it left now though...
Hope all those having cruddy times have a better weekend. We can try to make you laugh perhaps.
Dunnock city here Dove. I have lots in the garden - I'll trade some for a few blackbirds. They are proving to be elusive but hopefully that will change. Can you get me some pots too? I seem to spend a lot of time just now shifting plants to bigger pots to get the small ones for something else and then doing a lot of washing
The only trouble with Heuchera Lime marmalade is that it looks a bit like lettuce I got a couple of them last summer in 3" pots at the nursery for a few quid. They're now big plants (about 1' all round) and about to flower.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi Percy, The show is still at Ingleston (have you been?). At least the weather was kind and we didn't have to be hauled out of the mud by tractor!
Panda - I hope your back is improving. Don't know what happens on Monday but good luck. If in doubt take a panda with you
