No rain for me today!  Greetings to everyone image seems I missed saying happy birthday Punkdoc - sorry.  Weather here dry, intermittent blue sky, bit of thin cloud at the moment, just such a relief not to be looking out of the window at heavy rain, my poor garden is soaked.  Found aphids on one of my tomato plants in the cold frame so not happy, stems all withered so snapped them off.  Struggling a bit today wanted to get some work done but my head will not let me which is so frustrating when I was feeling so well looking out of the window at the rain the last few days. AARRGGHHH.  Found a clematis at the top of the garden scramling through loads of weeds but have no idea what it is.  It is gorgeous.  The picture is not on my computer yet but I will post when I transfer it later on .

    Have a good day all.

    Morning, just, to you all.

Late ish up today, forced myself out of bed cos of some lovely sunshine.

Chat to friend by phone who's computer has been hacked, very upest, not leaset because she 'did something silly' (phone call, click on links, personal details, all that scenario).

Then a welcome but unexpected visit from childminder, her son and dog, lovely chat, not so keen on dog sniffing my plants though...

Behind on necessary tasks (like breakfast!). Still a nice day but I bet by the time I get myself together it will be raining again!

    Hi all.

been nice this morning, although I think it is going to pee it down very soon.

Up early, have been planting out last autumns Osteospermum cuttings, and placing the dahlia pots in the borders, where I intend to plant them. Thinking about colour combinations and heights etc.. So far there has been lots of standing back, quizical look, move the pot six inches, fetch another pot, admire my work etc, etc, etc. I have not yet actually dug a hole and planted a single dahlia.

OH is out helping as well, at the moment she is hacking at a hedge which is swamping one of the borders, having checked that there were no birds nesting.

Hope everyone is enjoying the BH., and that the workers are ok.

Sorry Lily, think we've got all the fine weather image - hazy sunshine all day so far - a nice push along the cliff top with the Aged Ps, ice creams and  mugs of hot chocolate (Ma says it's that time of year image) , a stroke of the muzzle and a conversation for Pa with the lovely Shire who pulls the carriage for rides through the town and back to The Lovely Home in time for lunch.

Now I'm home for a ham sandwich and a long cold drink image
