LPilly - absolutely - it feels like the sky is falling in for months ! A neighbour round here did some major tree clearance ( - but thats another story ) and i still feel like i am about to drive off the end of the earth whenever i go past
Good morning all - had a lazy Sunday morning so far, mostly because joints seized up after walking so much yesterday (up hills too), this never used to happen, feel 70 not 50 - can only get worse too!
Also cat decided to bring me a present of a mouse at 4am this morning, bad enough in itself but when he proudly dropped it to show it me it scuttled off under the bed - I nearly hit the ceiling!
Sproglet also Skyped me this morning, wearing his new winter coat, apparently had wanted to sleep in it. He hasn't quite mastered the idea of Skype, keeps wandering out of view to show me something on other side of the room. With delay too conversation a bit stilted and really could have done with hanging up much sooner but didn't want him to feel rejected - bless, just kept thinking hurry up I need to check out those forkers - bad mother!
Off out to finish another flower bed and maybe, only maybe, start the really bad one at the front. It has some gorgeous roses in it but all covered in bindweed and sneaky nettles beneath - definitely need H&S gear (take note -using common sense). Just know will be in there days and not sure I am up to it yet.
Looks quite hot out already, maybe not quite the right day for it - will it ever be?
Enjoy all, whatever you are doing, bob back later to check you all out!

Mornin All, Its sunny here but with the occasional black cloud looming. Im just heading off to Stevenshill Garden Open Day near Shrewsbury. I think it was Fidget who was going so maybe Ill bump into her. I think we should have a Forkers Badge to wear when garden visiting or maybe a secret handshake so we can recognise each other.
Everyone seems busy today. Hope picnics etc go well.
DD hope you feel better, I honestly think that when you hit 50 everything takes it in turn to ache.
Runnybeak, where in the West Mids are you. I know Bekkie is close to me but wondered how far away you were.
Off to get postcode and directions for garden just in case I get lost. Every possibility, as those you of you who read the Senior Moments thread will know.
Tring to make a posh envelope- doing my ed in! Even got a thingy which is sposed to make it idiot proof- well, they didnt count on this idiot! Just followed a video on youtube, and still got it wrong! Grrrrr
