    Morning all { just ]

Been out sawing up tree on greenhouse. trying to stay positive, although the rain is not helping. Plans in head for cobbling together some sort of plant shelter, and that OH will take pity and let me buy a new one [ cunning as a fox, well maybe not ]

    Enjoy your day.

Thats the way Doc, Insurance will buy you a nice new greenhouse. Take photo of the damage.

I hope you are a bit more cunning than our resident fox, day before yesterday he buried all the bird food, half a sausage and a meatball in the flower bed, in 4 different places, today he couldnt remember where he had put it and dug up half the border!

Received your PM thank you KEF. I am now sat amongst seed packets and "what the hell did I save this bit of paper for" bits and pieces from my "gardening bag" sorting you some chilli willies out! No traumatising your neighbours too much will you. I mean I'm all for beautiful plants on the windowsill but are you sure they'll get the joke?;)

(Other contents of said bag include toilet roll inner tubes, two tubes of peak polish, three marker pens, a knife, spare hair band, and three mini clothes pegs...)

Oooh I'm all excited about the new season now! Must sit on my hands and show no temptation to get the propagators out (especially since my partner needs to help me dismantle this greenhouse and make some foundations so that I can have two greenhouses this summer)...

  • Sounds like a bargain RB

Will take my decs down Sunday or Mondayimage

Always think it looks weird for awhile when they come down.

Clari, you cant have too many hair bands and mini clothes pegs, I can never find a hair band, taken off in every room of the house and can never remember where.

Clothes pegs are good for pegging netting to frames.

Probalt take decs down on Sunday, when OH can help.

When I was little my mum used to leave them up until my birthday, we had real candles on the tree then, I loved it as I new it was just for me.

BTW Star Gaze Lily, its the 12th.

Sadly Lyn, no insurance. Greenhouse and shed are in the orchard which is a long way from the house, so insurance Company would not cover any buildings on the land.

it is looking a bit better now though. Bent metal strut straightened, and am starting to replace glass with plastic. I will get there in the end.

Clari don't rub it in about 2 greenhouses!

At least we don't have the - temps that Lizzie & DD haveimage

Don't think it's much better for LilyP, Lesley & the missing Fairy...soz to any real northerns I haven't mentioned.
