Morning, I haven't been on here for ages but have read all the " goings on"

i do hope Shadow is still on the mend terrible experience for you all, Charlie must have been very upset

Dove, it's a grim job, pub lunch a requirement I should think

Clarice, welcome, what a pretty name

Well, we actually had snow here yesterday! I turned off the greenhouse heater in the warm weather of last week and forgot to turn it back on.  Result is not good.  Looks like the sweet peas and Impomea all suffered. Am praying for a miracle. So much work lost in one night thro my own fault argggggh  Why do I garden?!

Yep, person who picks son up has just said it's snowing not far from here!

    oh yes, good morning!

  • Good morning, nice and bright here and at last my Rudbeckia have germinated, has taken weeks, sure they were really easy last year. image

Lily, sorry to hear about your greenhouse plants, so frustrating isn't it. My first tray of Cosmos were eaten by mice, all gone in one night when they had looked so healthy and like you say after so much time and effort. Maybe they will bounce back for you.

Shadow looking a bit perkier this morning again.

Dove hope you get sorted ok, certainly a pub lunch deserved after. image

Right must get on, so much to do and so little time, houseful again on Thursday and they are staying all week-end. OH says my marketing of the B&B was more successful than it was meant to be.image

This bed is the  one  I see from the kitchen. It used to be a strip about 1.5m at the front and everything behind was under membrane and grit.

Membrane removed, grid spread out and  ready for mulching.
