Well don KEF's nieceimage.  Lovely to have a few strings to your bow (sorry, not an orchestra) but decisions will be difficult.  Good luck to her (and her parents)image.

I'd love one of your cheese scones Doveimage.  I'm on a diet so won't put butter onimage

Well done KEF's niece and the best of luck in whatever she decides to to - my understanding is that nowadays ballet schools make sure that academic studies are not neglected - they know that dancers need a life after ballet image

I've just booked tickets for us to see Much Ado at The Minack when we're in Cornwall - must take cushions, thermal undies, waterproofs, pasties, flask of coffee and beer for OH. image

Well done to your niece KEF - sounds like a multi talented young lady who will go farimage.  Littlest chicklet did brill too....we are so, so proud of herimageimageimage

Bike ride through the sights of London was fantastic yesterday - would highly recommend it, even if you know the city well.  I now know where the term "pickling" comes from ....not sure Branston will ever be the same againimage.

Raining today, so me and the chicklets became "ladies who lunch" for the day, to celebrate the fact that all their hard graft earlier in the year paid off.  And tonight, I might even treat myself to a glass of something bubblyimage

RUNNY - what are you loike gal ??? image

PANDA - you can borrow my magic kit if you think it will bring you luck tonight. (They have been washed)

Congrats to all with offspring etc with good exam results & commiserations if any of you are picking up the pieces.

Bike ride sounds great Chicky - very much my cup of tea if you get time to stop and look at what you're passing. Is it all on 'safe' roads or tracks? - hate cycling in traffic

    Thanks folksimageimageimage

Topbird - cycling was nearly all on cycle tracks in the parks, with a couple of very short road stretches, where he got us to huddle together ("like wildebeests" imageimage) and follow his lead - at no point did I feel that myself or chicklets were unsafe .....and believe me, I can worry for Englandimage.  Plenty of stops to see and hear anecdotes about the sights we were passing too.  It was run by Fat Tire bikes (but I am sure other companies are availableimage)
