Only one flower in my garden...  not worth posting on the proper thread!

Chicky - how about Ilex crenata?  Looks a bit like box, very small leaves.  Don't know if deer like it though.  We get them here occasionally but they don't do much damage.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Well, I'm still alive following hubby's activities in the kitchen.  Have eaten a lovely greek lamb casserole cooked by his own fair hands.  It was so good I've let him watch match of the day.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

I saw Esio Trot too, then Quartet - 2 films I really enjoyed in one evening.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning all image  Jolly blustery out there - a minimum of 4.6C overnight.  Esio Trot was simply marvellous!!!  Oscars deserved all around !!!

I haven't watched Eastenders for years - not since the kidnapping of Kat's baby - broke my heart - I couldn't bear it. image  The only 'soap' I follow now is The Archers image

Planning to visit the Aged Ps later today - maybe son too if he's around - but he may be helping friends who are about to produce his Godson - they have two little girls who may need ferrying to grandparents!

chicky - what a shame about your box blightimage.  Hopefully the suggestions you have had will help.

Wintersong, Flynn is adorableimage.  Wish we had been sensible enough to go for a smaller dog than the giant we have but of course wouldn't swop her for the world now.
