He he Yvie, got visions of you tip toeing between the plants, and peeking out over them, please dont stand in the car park shouting Fidget, fidget where are you!
No Bekkie, I didnt but if they were the couple Im thinking of I think I drove into their parking space as they drove out. Mind you I havent really confirmed that it was Fidget visiting Stevenshill but I think it was. Nothing exceptional there except a Roscoea that was a cross between purpurea and a red (cant think of the name at the moment) they had pollinated it themselves and it was the most beautiful colour a sort of rusty burgundy. They hadnt split it yet so it wasnt for sale, shame because I would definitely have bought it.
Am at Ma and Pa Panda's Just consumed roast chook, a couple of large GnTs and some wine. Feel a snooze is due
Went with Pa to get my 'silver birch' (white trunk) I appreciate it might not be the 'best time' for planting a tree but it is an early bday pressie from OH so I'm happy
Hello Forkers! Glad to be back with you all after my busy week in Scotland (dismantling old bed - with a crowbar and hammer - assembling new one - rebuilding drystone wall, demolished by free-range bullocks - cutting escallonia hedge - strimming knee-high "lawn" - admiring the view... )
Had a bit of a skim over what's been going on in your lives, but it really needs more time than I've got today. Think I'd get a better picture by going back to the beginning and reading all the posts, trying to build up a mental picture of each of you...
April showers here today. At least it hasn't been very warm while I've been away, so my courgettes haven't all become marrows! Plenty weeds though - better go & pull em up
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Looks as though badges are a good idea then Bekkie - I'd suggest 50p each and free postage
