Mrs. G you should have sent them out to forage at the Food Festival! I'm hoping to go if my stomach settles down (adding either strawberries or kiwi to the banned list - not keen on trying either to find out which any time soon though!) And I get enough jobs done. (Though tomorrow is the last day so will have to hope people don't try and close early & leave empty stalls).
First job will involve sitting at the gates of the pond centre when they open to get some more oxygenating plants - the fish have decided these are the tastiest things *ever* and destroyed the current ones in the past three days the daft fools! Why don't they chew on the mint roots?! You can see why it spreads so quickly it's not long been in the pond / oversized pot and I'm already having to whip it out every few days to trim the roots back that are pushing through the plastic pot!
Second job will involve picking up the railway sleepers to finish the pond edging off on my way back. I think I need eight. Trouble is mathes is a weak link so I might get my partner to check!
A beautiful still morning full of birdsong. Hopefully the morning will stay fine and son and I plan to take the Aged Ps out for a push and an icecream on the pier. Fingers crossed.

Missed the chat last night as son no.1 hogged the computer as he was following the leaderboard in America where his hero Colin Montgomerie was playing. Great excitement here when he actually won and a bottle of bubbly was opened.
KEF it was Aghios Nikolaos where we stayed but OH gave me a shock when he said it was fifteen years ago.
Hope to get some of my containers planted up today but they will not look anything like as nice as Panda's HB's. Off for my morning walk now. Still need wellies.

Had a lovely day and the sun shone all day. Got a little bit burnt as when we left home it was a fine drizzle, so sunshine on arrival was a surprise.
Stopped off at a Spanish resturant on way home and had tapas, lovely day out.
