Pizza was a success KEF! I don't think you'd know it was gluten free unless you were told. Partner certainly put his away quickly enough!
Managed to avoid all Eurovision this year, it just seems a waste of money for a sing song.
Lots of baby talk last night! It always amazes me you ever feel your OH grown up enough for children. I still feel like I'm on babysitting duty with him half the time! (How do you even get that much mud into the kitchen?!)
Morning all brrrrrr cold and blustery here today yuck.... Just trimmed my monardaa back 1 in 3 trimmed down and treated for mildew as a few spots are appearing.... Holiday prep here today off to corfu next week hupiprahhhhhh
There were 2 things that caught my eye, one was that stand of geums that MD showed and am still kicking myself for not having bought that Geum 'Rogers Rebellion'. It was exceptional but I was not sure of planting conditions - hey ho.
The other was one of the outside market stands which had loads of hardy geraniums- I bought 3 different one but wished i'd had Verdun nearby to remind me of the name of that black one he talks about!
I did get a really pretty one called Purple Pillow, Anne Folkard and pilostemon (or similar).
Did get a lot more things - rusty metal obelisk (7ft high) for £12, more plants and some of those wire holders for concrete posts.
I have finally planted up my curved herbaceous bed, and left spaces for geraniums. Until the show I didn't realise that Geums came in such pretty colours, so hope to find a couple of spaces for them
Today we have rescued my lovely acer which has been blown over in the wind (in a pot)
Most things damaged in the winter storms are now re-potted and doing well, I think I will have to do the same for the Acer. Any one ever re-potted one? It's quite large! Any hints?
Stacey have a great time, wild flowers should be out. I've had a couple of good hols in a small place called St. Stefanos on N.West side. Apparantly two with same name so one gets called Aghios Stefanos & other St. Stefanos.
We last stayed near Kassiopi, a gorgeous little fishing village and we went on a horse ride through the mountains, the smell of all the wild herbs and flowers was lovely
I've given up waiting for a dry spell - I've been out in the rain and sown my Buerre de Roquencourt beans - at least they'll be well watered in - two double rows. While I was there I cut some Purple Sprouting Broc for supper - might as well get wet just the once

Oooh have a lovely holiday Stacey - do you need us to water anything while you're away?

Morning all, still very blustery here
Love Corfu Stacey, we are thinking of going in August but can't decide
Enjoy lunches those that are off out, and SM trips (is that possible) and GC visits.
Off out for a bit, bye for now.
Hello All
I went to Malvern Show.
