    Good morning all.

Rained briefly at 9.30pm and again during the night, currently very still and light drizzle.

Got some tidying up to do, and some washing as it was very windy when we lit the BBQ so we all smelled as though we'd been smoked. image

Sorry to hear about Dove's son's roof and hope it can be repaired quickly and at not too great an expense.image

Morning all, you've all been up and about chatting for ages...lazy Sunday for me I'm afraid, seen as it's raining and looks set for the day.  If it wasn't for the leaves on the trees I would think it was October too!!

Good point Lily, sorry I forgot about the cost of keeping horses.....we can dream image

Well today looks like an ironing day (image) and I think I'm going ti attempt to make courgette chutney, but just found a lovely recipe for stuffed courgette so will need to see if I have enough left over now.

I have to admit to ignoring too now, not pressed ignore, just not getting drawn in any more, I have enough going on without people I don't even know making me feel bad image

Morning folks,  Hope everyones OK re the weather.  Its persisting down here and has been all night but very still.  Dont mind the rain but glad its not windy as that's what tends to do the most damage.  Sorry about sons roof Dove hopefully his friends will help him sort it out.

I find that keeping my own council re the offensive threads is the best way.  Ive only commented once and I suspect that will be the only comment I make.

My brolly has not been out for a few days so its definitely not my fault its raining.

I am very worried about my new friend the racing pidgeon in all this bad weather.  He is so beautiful and obviously bemused by the situation he now finds himself in.  I have managed to get him to eat and drink but despite my many efforts to catch him I have failed.  I dont know how he coped with the weather last night but he seems incapable of finding a roost he just sits on the roof shivering.  It appears he got list mid race because as well has his owners ring he also has a rubber racing ring on the other leg.  You cant report them as found until you have caught them so I guess Ill be spending a few more hours with my box and string.  See you all later Im going off to see mom in a mo.
