Plants are so important to Verdun! I wondered if he'd notice some time ago, but no, just plants! But then he is a man I bet if my DIL had produced a wild swan with leaves he's have noticed!!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Stacey - knew as soon as i saw the photos what you had found .... didn't need to read the words! I have one growing happily in the garden, and 2 that have been overwintered in the GH ready to join it soon
Agree with Verdun - being told you're great is as important as the payrise - well done to SiL and niece.
Had a GH day, after finding the bedding plants i needed in the GC (isotoma and salvia rhea - both the deer equivalent of brussel sprouts) - they are a bit unusual, so i always heave a sigh of relief when i lay my hands on them. They have been potted on and will grow in the GH for a couple of weeks. Also potted up lupins, dahlias and rudbeckias from their seed trays - GH is getting a bit congested
Stayed in hospital 5 days with my first - had an emergency C - was terrified when i was finally let home. Thank heavens my Mum was on hand
Mrs g the neighbours ones are not as verd predicted wild swan although they do have shading on the rear of the petals def not wild swan!!! Plus one was slug food under the plum tree the other is doing great...... I have planted my swan under the ornamental cherry quite shady but I feel she will( only something so georgeous could be a woman!!!!!) like it there although the winter may try her.... All this baby talk is making me broody!! My lo keeps asking if she's going to have a sister or brother ( no never can't have anymore at risk of tumour feeding on the growth hormones again!!) I was in for 4 days b4 birth ( induction) then 6 days after that.....

Evening all you lovely people.
Been doing more painting in bedrooms and finished for now - the heavens opened half an hour ago and I now have a new pond in the back garden...
Feet up now waiting for heated up leftover chilli and watching Placido so that's me happy
Cute pic BL. Seems no time since mine were that size and now they're big ugly teenagers!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Anyone watching Eurovision?
Was that the bearded lady Pansy?
You don't know what you are missing MrsG
