    Rain even heavier now!

glad all calm with you Verdun and hope your sons friends are able to help him Dove before too much damage occurs

Just had notification email of this thread but by name of someone who is not here and name I don't recognise? image

  • Morning all! Sorry I missed the party sounded like fun. We have thunder this morning and heavy rain but looks like it will clear up this afternoon. We spent yesterday afternoon at the new allotment and I am aching today! More than half of it cleared so a good half days work.

Morning all. Storms aren't meant to get up here till tonight and tomorrow so just rain for now. Hope no one here is suffering too much. Dove - your son is having a rough time image

I'm just ignoring - been doing that for a while. I simply don't comment rather than press the button though. Frankly I find it all baffling, but it takes all sorts I suppose. I don't like seeing people drawn into something though  image

Off for a look round - I wasn't on last night - was Watching The Verdict with lovely Paul Newman image

Raining here but gentle. Just what my parched garden needs. Very dark though, that probably means a storm on its way. Not much wind, which is what does the damage.. OH commented yesterday that the bed with the lilies and phlox in now looks very sad. The lilies have been deadheaded, the phlox need to be,  the rain ruined the petals.

Time for a hack down and feed the shredder , I think.

Beau's Mum - I think notifications are a law unto themselves at the moment - every so often I get some when I've not ticked the box on that thread.

I'm wondering whether this forum is a bit like the Marvellous Mechanical Mouse Organ, and when Daniel's away the mice try to "fix it" image
