I know Lily image I was going to get up and plant mine I the morning before lunch out, but I've been thinking about it while sowing my sees and I will do them when. Get home as OH is (hopefully) cutting the hedges and I don't want him standing on them! I know they are only leaves but I would like to enjoy the leaves a bit longer image

Who mentioned 50 shades??  I read them on my kindle so the boys couldn't see what I was reading....but they kept asking me and guessed when I went red!!!!  Cheeky teenagers image

I kept wondering what BFN meant on KEF's posts. I thought it meant Big Fat Negative for a pregnancy test (ex-nurse!) Then Tracey said bye for now and it clicked!

Have had a busy day in glorious sunshine. Morning in greenhouse, afternoon pruning roses. That's 12 climbers done now, nearly finished them. Not doing the 2 climbing Cecile Brunner. They had a really hard prune by OH last year and then grew like mad. Lots of lovely arching branches covered in leaves now.

Still haven't finished 50 shades, started it a few months ago. Got sort of bored with the male interest and how good looking he was.

Hi Panda - just in case you have another sneaky peekimage

We are now the proud owners of an asparagus bed. I believe it will be 2017 before we get our first harvest .... Noone can say we are not in this for the long game!

Thought i was one of the only people who grew Cecille Brunner!  It was spectacular at our last house, but waiting for it to really get going here.

Well, I cleaned the squirrel feeder and some bird feeders.

Then after a bit started digging behind the pond so many tree roots and found 1 vine weevil put it in the bird food for them, even though I spent 1.5 doing digging did not look like I had done much

Planted out a few of the daff got bit late had to give up needed to do my bed as washed sheets and put on the line outside in the sun - was a little windy today so not as warm as yesterday
