Total disaster with getting up this morning. Alarm went off, I turned it off and then went back to sleep. Woke up at 8.15, the time I should be leaving the house. Managed to get to work on time, but have felt a bit behind all morning!
Have my own coffee, but would love a bit of cake
Better get back to it . . . . the salt doesn't mine itself
Just got a parcel today a plant support frame for edge of path stop the flowers being on the floor
Planted my large metal pot yesterday filled it with orange geums and large purple asters dug out from another part of garden as they have been spreading a lot so will be contained now and some orange marigolds.
The poppy planted in a pot and two fuchsia in two more pots - that is some of the plants out now still more to go
Daisyheadcase - nice to make a cake that colourful - have to try that sometime
Panda - don't worry about it, we'll share Clari's cider later.
Well, gardening stopped almost as soon as it started as I had to dash to get the washing in while the Gods were moving the furniture around upstairs!!!!!!!!
I've decided that it's definitely a Watching Wimbledon afternoon (which probably means that the rain's going to stop any minute). I've made supper - all I have to do is turn the oven on and pop it in later.
Just going to put the kettle on and put my feet up in front of Centre Court
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hi peeps, just popped on to see what is happening, i'm feeling a bit lost as there is no fitba on tonight and tennis just doesn't do it for me..
Congrats on your engagement Clari & Steve...
"A huftie case" not heard that in years Fairygirl, made me
Gardengirl if you put anymore plants into pots you will have to change your username to potgirl
Off out to give my my overgrown Montana a haircut, problem is it's sprawled across the top of a flat roof shed not to sure it will support my weight, might send one of the kids up instead
Just popped in, been booking hol flights for September. Any vols to tell my siblings I'm off for 3 weeks
Percy nothing wrong with putting kids on a safe roof , we used to stuff them up chimneys.
Panda you'd better borrow Dove's body clock again. Or I could ring you tomoz at 7am and scare you as it's Saturday
Drizzled / rained here all day. Never thought I'd say yipee, just hope it's done by tomoz and we can take our jumpers & jeans off. From being nearly 30c it has managed 14c today.

Hi everyone, sunny but breezy here.
Bekkie, your poor mum, how very sad. I can't believe nobody heard/saw them......unless it was about 3 in the morning. How could anyone do that.
Panda its almost the weekend, hope I'm in your pocket
