Thank you everyone for my birthday wishes yesterday, and on the birthday thread. Perhaps someone mistook BL for RB!
Spent a lot of the day today with son and baby grandson. Son bought me lots of tulips for my birthday. We went to the GC.
DD, people complain that there are harvest mites which bite when you walk on grass, called "aotats" here. They don't affect everyone, I think you have to be allergic to them.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
We started the day with fog, but the sun's burning it off - apparently we've got a sunny day ahead I'm going into the city on the bus later to get shorn - beginning to look like Worzel Gummidge - as I can't grub around in the garden for a while I've also booked a manicure - got to live up to Panda's claws on Saturday

Good morning
Really warm here again today
If site was down over night hopefully it means they have fixed stuff!
Morning all. Off to work in a moment and going to vote on my way. Feeling very sad and worried about it.
Dull and damp here - autumnal. Woody's bed will be very nice when it's all complete so looking forward to pix. The stumps looked lovely.
Hope everyone has a good day, whatever they're doing.
I'll catch up later
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Good luck at the polls Fairy - and that's all I'll say on the matter.
Morning all
Off to put on some clothes and get ready to another day at the mine face
Have a good day all
Morning all,
Very misty here and a heavy dew on the grass.
Looks like I might be raking oak leaves today, there's loads of those on the grass too.
Good luck voting Fairy, hope it goes whichever way you hope it does. Decisions decisions.
Have a good day everyone, whatever you are doing.
Take care, TTFN
