My OH has no colour blindness at all    image the dark grey T shirts that he wore for work were always a shade of green, until he was sent some with a packing note that stated colour grey.

It looks as though there won't be any cake left by this afternoon lily - Verdun's spotted itimage  Have a good day off.

  • I will save a slice for you, SGLily, don't worry.  We all know what Verdun is like.  The rain appears to have eased off for the moment so I might go and have a wander in the garden to see what's what this morning (anything to avoid housework) image

Congrats to Mr and Mrs OL - hope you have a lovely weekend celebrating.  What's the thingy for 18 years?  Maybe it's plants! Just tell him that OL - he'll never find out image

Dry here and a little cooler so will get something done as no work today. Off to see what else has been going on while I was watching the tennis last night.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We wont be setting YEAR let alone date for a while yet. A friend is getting married in August so we wont be doing anything until they've had their moment in the glory as it just feels rude to take attention off who is currently a very stressed out bride.

Neither of us have ever really discussed weddings before so I've no idea what kind of plans - if any - Steve has about the day. It'll be interesting to find out!

As for shouting it out at the roof tops - I'm knackered just having to field questions from family and close friends (do people's brains just loose all common sense?) I think a press release is the way to go when we announce babies and such like this is too much melodrama! Very weird having to contact family members who we've not seen / really heard from in over 10 years to tell them. Almost a - well would they really care if they heard about it on Facebook?
