Hmmm.....no placcy bag and no scissors, I think I need more lessons lol! But I have progressed because this time last year I wouldn't have even looked for seeds. Not liking posting on my phone LOL!!
Don't think Athletes foor Philipa, no flaky skin and on side not toes. Worse when hot - taken to sleeping with feet sticking out of bed, lying sort of sideways on - needless to say OH has taken refuge in spare room - plus points to everything.
Must remember plastic bag and scissors in handbag trick, very crafty.
My phone posted a blank post the other day and laptop frequently deletes everything I've written, was that cheering at the back?? I know I write too much.
Raspberries are the success story of my garden, love them so much, but cucumbers were too many in number and afraid got a bit wasted, only so much you can do with a cucumber - steady now!
Leslie, I too was in the garden until after dark, maybe that's why my feet are so itchy, no idea what I was standing in!
Goodnight all, late for me after watching GBBO and The Zoo programme - such 'nice' TV for a change. I am an hour ahead of you lot too.

Hi, have now planted my grasses and Gardengirl will help me with posting a picture later.
I planted Panicum "Warrior" which is tall with green and purple foliage and purple flowers in the centre of the circular bed. Then a circle of Pennisetum "Cassians Choice" which is a bit shorter and with green foliage turning yellow in autumn. The outermost ring is Carex Testacea, recommended by Verd. It is short and green/orange changing colour subtly as the seasons change. I will add Rudbeckias and verbena bonariensis later.
The whole outlook at the front of the house has been transformed from a tired and disjointed bed to something with more style, movement and form, even if I do say so myself .
Looked fab on pics yesterday Woodgreen Wonderboy, do keep us up to date, so nice having a blank canvas to go on. My poor garden looks a bit like a piece of modern art at the moment, but ever onwards, there is a beautiful being in there somewhere, bit like I feel about my appearance lately!

Maybe some cuttings OL - you'll need a placcy bag in your handbag
