Well I've done some gardening. Three lots of banana seeds in the propagator. I've floated some hellebore flowers in a bowl, and I've picked some kale.

Onion seeds tomorrow I think.  I'm pacing myself.

Was only thinking last week that I should do some rice pudding and egg custard.  Mum used to make both when I was little.  She also used to make meat and potatoe pie on mondays (depending upon what joint we had on sunday).

Secondborn used to love her apple pies which she made with thick pastry.  She used to tell mum off if she used too much apple.

Really feeling quite stiff after my gardening session this morning.  Have some clearing up to do tomorrow so I hope I don't ache too much.

    Evening all.

We did visit the Nutmeg factory, and the smell was great, made me quite woozy, in a nice way.

Loving all the signs of plant shopping, it gives me the perfect excuse........ well if they are all buying plants, then I should be too!!

Home alone tonight, so pizza and red wine.

    Have fun everyone.

How can you lie there and think of England

Yvie how long do you think it will be before you can dispense with the lawnmower completely?  I'm really looking forward to photos of your lovely plants in a few months timeimage.

Bekkie, well done with all the exercise - you'll sleep well tonight but will you be able to move tomorrow?

Well done to everyone who's been out gardening - I've looked at the garden but it's too wet to do anything much yet - I tidied and swept out the garage so I can find stuff.

  • To be fair Lesley, i feel a bit sick from it all! I thought excersise was supposed to be good for you???image

Beaus said she is feeling sore from all the moving stuff too, fingers crossed she will be back online tomorrow image

Yvie, plants are much more interesting than lawnsimage

Lesley, im with you, i think its too cold and orrible to be gardening image the biggest reason ive ordered that greenhouse is to keep me out of the worst of the weather while im seed sowing! image
