    Evening all,

Congrats Wintersong.  Doesn't seem that anyone has sustained any serious damage which is a suprise considering the state of the weather.

Had a bit of a horrible start to the day at Firstborns.  Her next door neighbour has two cats and they were torturing a pigeon in the garden, it was covered in blood and the poor thing was trying to drag itself away but they just kept playing with it.  Now I don't particularly like pigeons but nothing deserves that.  I went next door and asked the neighbour to come round and sort things out.  I don't think he was quite prepared for the state of the bird. Luckily I managed to distract grandchildren as they would have been horrified.

Had a rough night too as grandaughter has another ear infection.  So all in all not a good day.

    Hope tomorrow is better.

Oooh poor grandaughter Yvie - my firstborn used to get a lot of ear infections when he was little - horrid image

Supper's nearly ready - OH has chicken breast, I have a small piece of sirloin steak, and we both have mushrooms, asparagus and lamb's lettuce with half a jacket potato each.

Chicky - I'm afraid I'm another one with Pollyanna tendencies - ask Wonky image
