Hosta - send her a copy of Bowie's 'Queen Bitch'...
It's her loss though.
Lyn - do you just want Hosta away on holiday so that you can pop round and nick some plants?
Glad you had a good visit with ma Dove. At least in her own world she's happy. It would be so much worse if she was aggressive at seeing you as so often seems to be the case fro many families.
Sounds like you had a nice afternoon visit lily
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It's a heck of a lot easier to believe, like you, that climate change is in no way man-made so we don't need to modify our behaviour in any way.
But if you're right, why do 97% of honest, well-trained climate scientists with no axe to grind believe that it IS man-made and we DO need to modify our behaviour? Is there a huge conspiracy to make our lives more difficult?
I do admire your garden though Verdun...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I was given a kindle a couple of years ago, and was initially underwhelmed - but it's fab for holidays when weight is limited. You can't beat a proper book for curling up with though, in my opinion. If it's an old book, the smell alone is wonderful.
Irritatingly, I had to stay in this afternoon to wait for a delivery. Amazon are feeble, and usually ring from somewhere reasonably near, claiming they can't find the road or they don't like the potholes (maybe the second excuse is reasonable...). The driver this time didn't like the hills. But I only had to walk 200 yards to collect the parcel.

Bought o/h a Kindle many years ago as a Christmas present , must be one of the best things I ever did
My sister in law just gave me her newish Kindle , she could not get use to it , not used it yet but I am now so use to reading reports on my iPad , I am sure I will use it when my part time job finishes end of year , although I do have lots of books to read , tend to pick them up from charity shops but so many free ones available
Good night everybody , all day in Boston tommrow , important meeting but light agenda

Verdun. I am sorry if this sounds ruder than meant, but there are a lot of people alive today due to experts.

Good evening all, I might actually have time to say hi now that the clinic flooring is done!
