Very sensible not to venture to any hills today Fairy. You'd only miss the tennis anyway. The birds here are holding very tight to the feeders and trees. All the lights are on but I'm damned if I'm doing any sewing.
Flumpy I'm not a marmite hater but on crumpets??
Holly I've not ventured out of the front door either, but I had to use the back one to take the dog for a walk earlier. Yuk.
LilyP I'm sorry to hear that there has been no improvement as yet. Best wishes and hugs for you to be pain-free soon.
Have a good day at Wisley chicky - hope you get lots of Christmas present inspiration.
Pdoc I hope you don't need an ark but your stream must be full to bursting.
Hope Dove, Wonky and OH's have a lovely day. Mmm, sounds a delicious lunch. We're on curry tonight but a bacon roll at lunchtime is called for - just to keep the cold out you understand. If I close my eyes and think hard I could be as warm as Pat is.
Oh nearly forgot to say how good our baking looked Panda. Hope the sale goes well.
If you all want a good laugh, then I'll confess it rained yesterday from 2pm until after we'd gone to bed. Not sure what it's going to do later, but fingers crossed.
Fairy, did you say " Pedant's Corner"? Clearly that's the corner for only one Pedant. I live in " Pedants' Corner"
Bake sale went well, there weren't as many people at Church as normal, but we managed over £70 My vicky sponge went quickly
Weather is not looking great today Will be sorting out stuff for my trip up North later.... first off the tennis Would like Andrew Castle to stop talking like Andy has already won it.... we're only at game 3
But you are the King of Pedants, Hosta - no room for anyone else. We're all merely your lowly servants on a tier far below your gold, diamond encrusted one....
Did I worm my way out of that?
The sun's come out here - why didn't it do that first thing, then I could have walked early and still been home in time for the tennis...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Panda - they kept saying 'Murray' yesterday as though there was only one, and had to correct themselves. Poor Jamie! He takes it all really well though. That was a great total you got. Bet you're pleased

Afternoon everyone, lunch is served in thirty mins, steak and mushroom suet steamed pudding, rosemary roasted potatoes and savory cabbage followed by Doves greengage and almond crumble with choice of custard or double cream!

Hi there Lesley. I'm not sure I'd like to swap at the moment, yours sound terrible, mine is just hard to take day after day.
Morning all.

We were very pleased Fairy
I know what you mean about Jamie - Andy didn't win the game by himself!! And it's not like he's a shabby doubles player
Panda - did you catch the little game they (Andy and Jamie) played where they asked each other questions? Very amusing
