Morning all. Fairly sunny, but I have to feed 12 for lunch tomorrow after church. Must clean dining room, add a table, make 2 puds, prepare veg etc.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

HW here today too.  Nut is not alone with the state of her kitchen, only now it is 9.27 so even more imageimage

Just been for a wander - very wet but not actually raining. I have one tiny snowdrop out, but plenty more on their wayimage.  Trees don't look bad at all - although no longer suitable for Mars missions!  Tomorrow looks to be a better day for my bulb planting ....

  • Chicky, I was naughty too, i've only just done the washing up, some was from last night. Not the domestic goddess yesterdayimageimage

    Kitchen under control again.

Plant society meeting this afternoon, drizzling outside. Maybe I'll feed the birds then play with the sewing machine, it will make a change from saws, loppers and shredder

Thrown towel in regarding garden today.

Should do some HW, or build an ark, but decided a bit of shopping and an expedition to new Wetherspoons that has recently opened. ( To attend a temperance meeting image)

Lizzie glad I'm not catering for 12. Hope you have a good time tomorrow.

Pleased that trees look okay chicky.

Fidget hope all is okay as you've got home.

I was ready to go and tackle my greenhouse and start emptying it ready to take it down, until I woke up and heard the rain. At the moment it is just grey but not very promising! I was wondering whether to attempt digging in the beg patch too.......I just want to get started!!

For now it's shopping, ironing, dog walking and I'll see how the weather goes.

Chickie, what bulbs are you planting?

Tracey - 50 tete a tete daffodils arrived yesterday - a free offer with something else i bought.  Much too late to plant daffodils really - but nothing ventured, nothing gained - and they should be ok for next year if they don't amount to anything for thisimage

Morning all image Massive lie for me, OH got up to let me have the most of the bed image now I have to make breakfast though (well brunch I guess image)

No rain here but we are having the typical British grey skies image

Found some Alium bulbs I'd forgotten about this week. Hope to stick them in the ground this afternoon. Will cross my fingers that, as they are late showers, it won't make too much difference image Also bought some little pink Bellis yesterday which will need to go in the ground. They should add some well needed colour to a tiny patch of the garden image

Hope we are all getting on well through our day, and Dove is having a lovely time in London!
