HW here today too. Nut is not alone with the state of her kitchen, only now it is 9.27 so even more
Just been for a wander - very wet but not actually raining. I have one tiny snowdrop out, but plenty more on their way. Trees don't look bad at all - although no longer suitable for Mars missions! Tomorrow looks to be a better day for my bulb planting ....
Plant society meeting this afternoon, drizzling outside. Maybe I'll feed the birds then play with the sewing machine, it will make a change from saws, loppers and shredder
Should do some HW, or build an ark, but decided a bit of shopping and an expedition to new Wetherspoons that has recently opened. ( To attend a temperance meeting )
Lizzie glad I'm not catering for 12. Hope you have a good time tomorrow.
Pleased that trees look okay chicky.
Fidget hope all is okay as you've got home.
Enjoy meeting Nut.
Archie hope you feel better today, don't do too much.
I was ready to go and tackle my greenhouse and start emptying it ready to take it down, until I woke up and heard the rain. At the moment it is just grey but not very promising! I was wondering whether to attempt digging in the beg patch too.......I just want to get started!!
For now it's shopping, ironing, dog walking and I'll see how the weather goes.

Hi to all I've missed
Kitchen will stay clean today, not cooking.
BFN
still full of cold . but eating for england .breakfast on the go.
Tracey - 50 tete a tete daffodils arrived yesterday - a free offer with something else i bought. Much too late to plant daffodils really - but nothing ventured, nothing gained - and they should be ok for next year if they don't amount to anything for this
Morning all Massive lie for me, OH got up to let me have the most of the bed now I have to make breakfast though (well brunch I guess )
No rain here but we are having the typical British grey skies
Found some Alium bulbs I'd forgotten about this week. Hope to stick them in the ground this afternoon. Will cross my fingers that, as they are late showers, it won't make too much difference Also bought some little pink Bellis yesterday which will need to go in the ground. They should add some well needed colour to a tiny patch of the garden
Hope we are all getting on well through our day, and Dove is having a lovely time in London!
