Well, the party is on the Saturday, but some friends are staying overnight, so I'd like a good Sunday as well.

I think all my trees are still upright. I haven't ventured out yet.  The ducks didnt come yesterday. Bad flying weather I suppose. The drake arrived for breakfast this morning on his own.

Can I request good weather for two days? image I know its not typical for the UK in the space of a year, but....I did ask nicely!

Dove and I are going garden visiting Friday!!! image

    Also..

I have the rare event of one if our friends getting married, and apparently I have to look remotely female! No jeans no trainers, not even allowed to wear my baseball cap! image even offered to put a flower in it! So the blue legs are coming out to bounce the suns rays back and send it into hiding!

Fidget at least you can chose your friendsimage.  If the Sunday is sunny you can have a barbecue brunchimage.

    Hi, Joimage

Hope you are feeling better soon Wonky.  I'm a bit of a procrastinator too, which is why I'm still sitting here rather than getting goingimage.

    Good morning all,

Hope poorly ones are feeling better and gardens have survived the windy weather.

Someone near Truro has won 13 million on the lottery. Do you think it might be Verdun?

Fidget: I mentioned the thoughts of wearing my favourite steel capped boots under a wedding dress. When I first met my partner I was *ALWAYS* in steel capped boots. Its one of the few things (brain injury) I can remember him commenting on. I had my smart boots for evenings out and work meetings, my scruffy pair for weekends away (well I was driving a steam engine) and my comfortable pair for every day.

The concept was shot straight down although I'm still plotting it if I find that special pair of steels.

Wonky: my friend requested something similar for her wedding last year. Unfortunately after all that scrubbing (I was one step off bleaching my hands to try and get the ingrained dirt out) and polishing, bringing my one hair cut a year forward by several months (well when its in a pony tail what's the point) buying high heels, learning to walk in high heels, practising alighting from my truck with grace and style .... no one recognised me and I didn't appear in a single photograph! They all assumed I belonged to the other family. image

    I'll get the kettle on!

    Morning all.

    Flippin' hideous out there.

One of the clematis on tee pee had to have emergency " tie to the bench" action last night. Must go out and try to get it back upright.

Given the level of the pond I'd say we've had over 2" of rain in the last 24 hours.

    Still raining and very windy.

Why did I agree to go out with 4 deliveries this afternoon? Methinks the tubigrip bandage might have to come back out.

Good luck to those with exams and get well soon poorly peeps.

    Devon.
