Just spoken to hospital. Follow up appt. after MRI scan is Oct 29th. Even if they "operated" that day, I'd not be able to fly for 4 weeks, so Cape Verdi holiday is out of the question.
we've another holiday booked in January already, I even suggested to consultant we waited until I got back from that one, that'd be March and it's a very long time away.
We've already cancelled a trip to Amsterdam for later this month.

Very chilly here this morning. Bit later leaving for work now, but it was only 6 degrees at half eight, and lots of condensation everywhere. Into double figures now - very autumnal
Need to get grass cut but the front may not have dried out enough by the time I get home.

Had another ripe tomato for lunch....small pleasures. Very small!

Sorry GWRS, mind went blank .......forgot to say.....very sorry to hear your news. Hope all gets sorted and not too much damage on your patch. Agree with what everyone else has said. Probably youngsters as nothing was stolen. Just can't understand why anyone would do it. Best wishes x
