Haha Clari! That's it exactly! I didn't have a manicure for my own wedding, not going to for someone else's! Dove even suggested a spa day, not my style! Don't have the patience to sit around waiting for some one to faff around over my nails etc! Only started having haircuts this year, used to just hack at it with the kitchen scissors!
Procrastination in full swing Lesley! third coffee, nothing yet done! Can't even be bothered to feel guilty! Feel too poo!
And to top it all, I now have to go to the shed as Flatface, is not Flatface at the moment, he has an abscess from his last fight wound that he now informs me is leaking Marie rose sauce! Or at least that's what it looks like! Gonna be a long time before I order the prawn cocktail starter I can tell you!
Oh Wonky you're a lass after my own heart. A few people have suggested a spa day as part of the hen do. Sure they can do that while the rest of us are driving a double decker bus on a skid pan course and then taking a tank driving lesson.
Stop calling it procrastination! You're poorly: that means you're RECOVERING. Its very important to REST else you'll never get better. Now get that backside on the sofa and have another mug of tea.
Not been here for a few days, stuff catching up with me.
I had a lovely time at Busylizzies and came home feeling much, much bette etc any .
OH even managed to keep garden going and didn't let my new plants that came die, really quite surprised. Did find the droopy plants he kept telling me about were my tomatoes
We have a caravan and have made the decision to sell it. I am very sad about this but I cannot help with hitching up or anything heavy to do with it any more, so the tough decision has been made.
we are having a family camping weekend this weekend at Wrexham and will tell the family then. Then we will make the most of it!
Hoping to visit Chester Zoo as GD is just about the right age to be both amazed and terrified at the size of the animals she has only seen in pictures (The zoo gardens are supposed to be really good)
Very little gardening has been done and this week - well- weather aargh!!!
Just had a quick read about wedding clothes - daughter is having a 'rustic' wedding so no men in suits,- tweed waistcoat, bow ties, shirts of own choice and black trousers for men. MoB here is feeling a little confused, been told no trousers, wellies or dirty knees!
Don't have to wear a hat though, daughter will be in a proper wedding dress though.
When we go to the 3 counties show in a couple of weeks we are going to buy a 'rustic' waistcoat for OH from one of the many tweedy type mini shops they have.
