DD there's some saying about a kettle and a pot OH was laughing at me because I had told you to pace yourself and have only just come inside because it's nearly too dark to see what I'm doing
Rb I think our hedge is as long as yours and I've been hacking at it today but at least it's only 5ft or so high. Hope your OH is feeling better.
Your bulbs sound nice Beaus - suppose we'll have to wait a while for a photo
Glad you've got a new charger bekkie - but still haven't seen much of you
I would love to read your reply to that e-mail fidget
DD I had an allergic reaction to a pair of flip flops, it was because they had a metallic finish, the itching drove me mad.
The weather has been lovely here today so I decided to paint the shed, it now looks very chic. It's made the corner of the garden look much better.
Had a delivery from Broadleigh Gardens and I planted Pheasant Eyes, Erythronium White Beauty and Pagoda. Ive still got a load of bulbs to plant and if I can move after all that painting I'll do it tomorrow.
Looks like I'll be wearing sox forever whilst gardening then - such a sight! And then of course when you go out in sandals have little white lines around your ankles - will tell everyone here it is a chic English look!
Hedgehogs wombling past me as I type out on back terrace - sooo cute.
Have tried to console myself today that a rose I rescued from beneath bindweed a couple of months ago is now in full bloom, it was lucky to survive, only had a couple of twigs left on it!
Off to watch the GBBO now. Evening all.

I had a lovely surprise visit this aftrnoon from a young lady I got to know through my last job - our house isn't easily wheelchair accessible, but the sun came out and we were able to sit out on the terrace - she brought me a lovely get well card and she and her PA stayed for a cuppa and a slice of cake - I sent her home laiden with cucumbers and raspberries

Yesterday I emailed Hayloft plants to complain about the dead phlox.
I received a bounceback saying that someone would contact me. Today I have had an email asking me how I rate the support I have received.
Answers in words of one syllable please.....
