Oh look! We've got a beautiful sunset, layer on layer of pinky apricot candyfloss all over the western sky - Shepherd's Delight
Are you sure there's not just a big fire in the next town Dove?
Told you I was in a silly mood...
Used to have Morning Light Verd - it's very pretty. I wanted Flamingo for the same garden but couldn't get it at the time. Think I bought Ferner Osten instead.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'd like to get another Miscanthus Verd, but I don't think this garden will lend itself to them. I've got a different look here- a bit more traditional -and I'm not sure I could work one in without it looking wrong.
Once the extension's done though... I might be able to create a suitable area outside the French Doors as I'll have a small decked balcony and will probably put some of the phormiums below it, and....
Yes - perhaps I can work one in after all

After many hours and an annoyingly breezy day with much cussing we managed to get the bulk of the work done. Just sides and roof left to do tomorrow now :P
Also spotted this tree/shrub next door that looks quite pretty. Anyone know what it is?
