    Evening all

Congratulations Clari, how lovely.  And Happy anniversary OL image

Did have a lovely day and was going to post some stuff in the gallery but just been out and noticed that some mindless turd-for-brains had been around my front garden and lopped off flowers from my plants.  As you can imagine I am not a happy bunny.  Not least because it's my property, you had to walk up my path and right in front of my house to get most of those.  The undergardener has already telephoned (working away at the moment) and said we can't do much.  And we can't.  Hey ho, it's the first time for a very long time I have suffered from any vandalism or theft, etc, etc., and I hope it's the last for a long time too.

    Take care all, goodnight.

Hi Daisy, someone did that to one of my rosebushes last year, they didn't come on to the propety they could get to it from the pavement.....but cut off my yellow roses....but took them with them!  So why would someone damage your plants then leave them behind.....the mentality of some people grrrr image

    Oh Daisy image

That reminds me of when my daughter and her boyfriend moved into their first place together - they put tubs of plants on the steps and around the parking area - I think they lasted a couple of weeks at the most.  image  Now she concentrates her energy on the back garden and leaves the front bare.

Missed that it was OL's anniversary image Congrats Mr and Mrs OL image

Daisy, that's the kind of mindless nonsense that I would expect in my neck of the woods, and one reason my front 'garden' doesn't look great. I hope that they left you some to enjoy.

  • Yes plenty left to enjoy, thank you for all your kind words, I do feel a bit better image  So long as they leave them alone now then I'll be happy.  Maybe I'll have to look at putting a fence and a gate up.   It's quite hard because of the way I park my car...ah well nothing to be done tonight.  Thanks again all for the kind words.

Good morning KEF and any/everyone else image

Fine drizzle here at the moment - heavy downpours promised for this afternoon.  I shall make sure those stakes/supports are fixed.

Hi Dove, hope the rain doesn't do any damage. We really need some rain, but looks like Pdoc has taken it to G with him.
