DD I think you need to pace yourself a bit more.  The garden will still be there tomorrowimage.  Strange about your itchy feet, though when I have been weeding I get itchy arms.  I think I should have gardening gauntlets rather than gloves.

What bulbs have you got so far Beaus?

Saw your mice fidget - they are really cuteimage

Its another lovely day here, so warm and sun in and out like its still summer!

Bulbs I got Lesley were miniature white daffs, miniature red tulips, snow dropsremark red tulips, really nice shape and pink ones like angelique image Sorry not good on posh names image

Just watered the garden as was gasping and only left it two days!!

  • Thanks for the advice Lesley, wish I could pace myself more, but I get a real panic on when I see how much to do and how it just gets so bad so quickly if you leave it. Never seen stuff grow so fast. Have this vision of just getting on top of all the difficult bits so then I can just do a little bit of what I would consider gardening each day, weeding and deadheading, bit of planting etc. instead of what amounts to real hard labour. OH not interested, threatens to tarmac it if I complain and refuses to let me get 'a man in' to just do a bit of the real hard graft. Sorry rant over, sure in months to come ie. winter it will calm down a bit for me.

Regards feet, do you think could be tiny midgy bites that live in the soil? image

Oh DD we all feel better for a rant and sorry your OH not so interested as you are in your beautiful garden image Why don't you look back at old pics and then look at it now and see what a big difference each day you have worked so hard and what you have achieved.  It's because you see it every day and can't appreciate just how lovely it is image

As for your feet, is their a rash? Broken skin? Itchy or pain? Allergic to plastic?
