Dress warmly OddSockers!! Is freezing up here!

Hope you have a lovely time, can't wait to meet you next time x

  • Have a lovely day all you Oddsockers!  The weather's fine here at the moment - hope it is for you too image

Punkdoc and Pentillie and Chicky and any/everyone worried and threatened by floods, sending ((hugs)) if they're any help at all .......... they're probably not any practical use but we are all thinking of you and sending positive thoughts image

I must admit I do keep thinking about the river and the marshes near here - we are several feet above them, but I don't know how many feet - how much would it take for floods to reach us, if we had the weather that they're having in the west I wonder?

And speaking of the west - everyone over in North Wales - get those hatches battened down tight and stay indoors today - I don't think there's any other word for your forecast today but 'Grim' ((hugs))

    Good Morning all.

    Currently dry and 4C.

Thoughts with all who have fears about flooding. Has your headache gone Dove?

4'C?? What heat wave are you having KEF?! Its -2 here with a sprinkling of snow. My wee car is frozen shut!

  • Thank you KEF, yes it has gone image

My new garden thermometer says it got down to 1.4C last night in the back garden, and it's currently 2.3C out there - although there's ice on the garage roof which is more to the front and in the frost pocket.

Clari, I thought it strange but puddles not frozen, water still draining from wall, no frost. Wonder if I'm dreaming this.

Will check if O/S thermometer is broken, but didn't feel as cold as it has been. Safe journey to work.
