    Morning all!

Cut the wildlife area (aka overgrown) where the chickens are going - couldn't move for frogs! Little devils all over the place trying to trip me up! Wish they'd spread into the garden and make a dent on the slugs.

Thanks folks - haven't seen daughter for a while so today will be special image

Chicky, just watch that bracken - I'm sure I can remember reading that bracken spores can cause problems for some people - asthmatics etc?  Can't quite remember but there's something in the back of my mind - of course, it's probably too early for it to be releasing spores, but just thought I'd mention it.

Ah, just googled - the danger time is August to October at which time you should wear a face mask as breathing in the spores is definitely not good for us.

But it's ok to do it now - you probably knew that, that's why you're doing it image

Morning all. The rain we were to get hasn't appeared - yet - so it's quite nice just now. Youngest fairy goes back to school today after study leave - that's a shock to her system!

We have foxes trotting around here too Dove - there's lots of woodland around.

KEF - is it strange that I like going to B&Q? imageimage

Bracken's a bit of a thug when it gets going chicky - good luck with it. I remember a hill walk which involved a couple of miles initially through bracken. It was about 4' high at the time image

Off for a quick look round before I head off to the mine image

    Have a good day everyone

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning.

Dove from what I hear your OH is rapidly becoming the demon curry chef so of not worry, enjoy your day.

everyone else have a good day too, great for ducks here!

Step son, 16, just left for bus to school. Heavy rain. No coat. No hoodie. Just school airtex type t shirt. Refused common sense, just gave me 'the look' and scarpered rapid style.

    Son,12, in winter ski coat.

    The joys!
